Drama from India in the mid 1980s. Arumugam (Visu), a poor father, looks for a bridegroom for his daughter Uma (Ilavarasi). For Arumugam, the perfect bridegroom seems to be Bhaskaran (Karthik). Bhaskaran gets married with Uma. Bhaskaran understands his in-laws' financial problems and helps them. Bhaskaran suffers from brain tumor and he will die soon.

Surya (Nikhil) is a pick-pocketer accompanied by two more friends. Surya, the hero, does find his heroine in an incident but the real story follows - a stolen $100 million idol that falls in the hand of the Surya, but is chased by the goons.

Unaware of the fact that his wife is pregnant with his child, a man suspects her fidelity and deserts her. After the truth dawns on him, he arrives at the venue of his daughter's marriage.

The story revolves around two identical looking stepbrothers Arvind and Arjun, who hate each other. Life takes a twist when they fall in love with the same girl, and each tries his best to win her.

Prominent celebrities and esteemed personalities come together to regale the audience with comical skits and spectacular dance performances.
