Kunjananthante Kada is a 2013 Malayalam drama film written and directed by Salim Ahamed. The film stars Mammootty in the titular role, as a shopkeeper, alongside debutante actress Nyla Usha while Salim Kumar and Balachandra Menon play other pivotal roles. The story is about a small-time shopkeeper in Kannur and his attempt to find his own place in a rapidly changing world.

Solomon was practically raised by his teachers Anna and Mari. He mysteriously shows up one day years later when they are both retired in a hill-station, offering to live with them and take care of their affairs. The teachers are elated, and Solomon quickly works his magic to liven up things, in the process starting a little romance with the teachers' nurse . Alex was convicted of six murders but Alex confesses to Iyer that he had killed only five people and the sixth man, a financier was killed by someone else and he got blamed for it.
