Synopsis
四十年代，“喜记"是本地家喻户晓的传统潮州饼店，老板连学庚育有独子连文鼎，在制饼方面有着极高的天分。文鼎与卖唱女林小梅情投意合，但父亲阻止两人来往，还安排了他和富商的女儿孙秀兰成亲。中秋节的这一夜，文鼎不小心跌入水井，昏迷了过去。醒来时，赫然发现自己已穿越时空，来到了现代的新加坡。在机缘巧合下，遇上连大喜和他弟弟连双喜，在他们的饼店工作。过后还发现两人竟是他后人，经营的正是他家传下来的“喜记"。传统的没落，导致“喜记"的生意每况愈下，文鼎积极挽救的同时，遇见一个和小梅长得一模一样，性格却天渊之别的女强人佘美仁…
