Synopsis
導演杜琪峰找來「四大天王」之一郭富城，飾演身手不凡的主角《赤腳小子》。故事講述，窮鄉青年關豐曜（郭富城），終日赤著雙腳，以揹人過河為活。關父臨終前，囑其出城投靠段青雲（狄龍）；段驟見故人之子，留下關在布店「四季織」當小工。關與私塾女教師華小蓮（吳倩蓮）交心，卻遭蓮父白眼；關為求出人頭地，竟往投靠土霸喀和布（曾江），結果連累蓮父與段青雲相繼被喀暗算身亡。關得知真相，惜為時已晚，追悔莫及，決與喀拼過死活...
